Madeline Huffman Trivette Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Madeline Huffman Trivette, of New Castle, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 88. Madeline was born on February 10, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie William Trivette; her parents, Josie Huffman and Kent Huffman; and her five brothers, Corbet Huffman, Oval Huffman, Stanley Huffman, Bobby Huffman and George Huffman; one sister, Leola Huffman Sarver. Survivors include three children, Delois Shelor, Muriel Jones (Ron), Les Trivette (Roberta); three grandchildren, Mike Jones (Donna), Chris Shelor (Jasper), Ashley Stewartson (Trey); great grandchild, Hunter Jones and one on the way; special sister-in-law, Wilma Trivette. Madeline had a passion for flowers and loved spending time with her family and fur baby, Molly. Madeline was a retired nurse aid from Catawba Hospital, where she served 17 years. Madeline was fortunate enough to live independently until a few months ago. A special thanks to Kindred Nursing and Hospice staff and Dr. Syed T. Haider. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Kingery officiating. Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park.
