On February 7, 2022, one of the greatest men alive, Michael R. Price, has gone on to be by his dad’s side, Willard R. Price, and his favorite dog, Barney. Mike would often say “The greatest creature God ever drew breath in was a dog, because they never see you in a negative light and they are always loving and loyal no matter what.” Mike was an amazing man, husband, father, brother, but no words are good enough to describe a person like him. I have never in my life been so blessed, thankful, and grateful to have been married to a man like him, even if it was for a brief period of time. I am also thankful that I was able to remind him of that EVERY single day, multiple times a day, how much of a blessing he was in my life, and so many others. Mike was a legend all his own, he affected so many lives during his time here on earth, he will always be remembered and never forgotten. He was the kind of man that loved dogs, kids, and seniors, he always thought of others and never himself, so much so he paid a bill for strangers so their child would not be cold. Mike always gave the shirt off his back for anyone, even strangers. Mike’s literal best friend for life is Randy Dudding, they were like 2 hound dogs with their noses to the ground and getting into everything. They always liked aggravating his brothers, Ronnie Price and Wade Dudding. The Duddings and Prices were merged into one big family, always looking out for each other, they would drop what they doing to be there for each other in a time of need or just to have fun and blow off steam. Mike was a selfless man, he loved hard and was a fierce protector of family and friends, always quick to put you in your place, if necessary. He was also reliable, funny, charming, loving, attentive, quick witted, stubborn, and definitely always a jokester. He loved to make people laugh. Mike wants all his friends and family to know that you meant the world to him, and although he can’t be here to make you laugh, he would definitely want you to live a full and happy life. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Willard R. Price; maternal grandparents, Roscoe & Annie Bowman; aunts & uncles, James Walton, Connie Price, John Price, Roy Price, Edith Price, Nancy Price, Lillian Price, Carl Bowman, Nelson Bowman, Claude Bowman, & Anna Lee Secreist. Mike is survived by his wife, Christine Price; son, Danny (Jessica ) Price; daughter, Ericka (Jimmie) Hallis; grandchildren, Taylore Price, Abby Price, Jordyn Price, James Michael Price, and Nick & Alex; mother, Deloris Price; siblings, Ronnie (Becky) Price, Joe Price, Sissy (Tom) Hicks; nieces & nephews, John Price, Jonathan (Erin) Hicks, Wes (Mallory) Hicks, Carrie (James) Willoughby, Christy Price, Meaghan Price, Zac & Bayli Price; brothers and sister, Randy (Tammy) Dudding, Wade (Sandra) Dudding, & Janet Dudding; cousins, Tawanna Farris & Becky Albert; great-nephew, Will Huffman ; great-niece, Keiley Dudding; aunts, Lima Leader & Sylvia Jefferies, and any special family members not listed. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Paitsel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1-2:00 PM before the service.
